Snowmen, Spring Creek, DEAR week, Contractions

We had a very busy week! We read about snowmen, wrote about snowmen, our poetry was "The Snowman" and we enjoyed a special snowman donut snack. We also learned about contractions with "not." Check out the video below.

We celebrated a January birthday on Friday!! 

We also enjoyed wearing our winning Spring Creek shirts on Friday! We looked AWESOME!! 

This week has also been DEAR week (drop everything and read). Friday we read with our 3rd grade book buddies and got to listen to a guest reader with her dog Cassidy. The kids loved it!

Last but not least we had exciting news... A student in our class had perfect attendance from the first semester so her name went into a drawing and she won a bicycle!!!
